Artyfakes Action Props Ltd is located in an idyllic countryside setting in Norfolk UK, trading since 2007.
Artyfakes was launched by Nicolas Samiotis working, at first, out of a tiny shed in a back garden in Essex, making weapons and props for live action role play (LARP). Artyfakes has expanded greatly over the years moving into other complimentary industries including Cosplay, films, theatre, television, theme parks and gaming.
Artyfakes run training courses and streams live from the studio.
Nic Samiotis, Artyfakes Creative Director, has over 20 years of experience in prop manufacturing, and is an expert in foam and latex. Nic originally earned a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design after completing a Foundation course in Art and Design, both at Middlesex University.
Tabitha Lyons joined shortly after company inception and is very much a key figure in running the business as well as being the driving force behind promotion and business development. Tabitha is a top UK Cosplayer, participating in panels at Conventions as well as being a much sought after judge. Tabitha streams her favourite games Tabitha is also a stage host at many conventions.
Lorna Lyons-Smith, AKA 'Momma Mod', is a company director contributing hugely to Artyfakes in every way possible. Without her tireless and enthusiastic support Artyfakes would not be where it is today.
